A courthouse square rebuilt once, homes rarely reroofed since
Lebanon's Boone County courthouse was rebuilt in its current Classical Revival granite-and-limestone form between 1909 and 1911, and many of the homes in the neighborhoods that grew up around that square carry original or early-replacement roof systems well past their expected service life.
